Easy to make, this gratin makes the dish much richer and tastier. Try it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower divided into branches
  • 1 vegetable broth
  • ½ liter of boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons melted margarine
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
  • 5 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green chilli
  • 100 grams of coarsely grated mozzarella

Sauce Ingredients

  • 250 ml of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
  • 1 vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 echo

Preparation Mode

  1. Dissolve the vegetable broth in boiling water and cook the cauliflower until it is al dente.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  3. Season the margarine with green scent, salt and pepper.
  4. Drain the water from the cauliflower and dip the branches in margarine.
  5. Distribute in a refractory greased with margarine and sprinkled with breadcrumbs and set aside.
  6. Heat the milk in a pan and dissolve the vegetable broth.
  7. Add the egg yolk, wheat flour, cream cheese and mix continuously until the sauce thickens.
  8. Distribute the sauce over the reserved cauliflower.
  9. Mix the Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the sauce.
  10. Distribute the mozzarella cheese over everything.
  11. Bake until golden.

Approximate yield of 8 servings.

Whenever a recipe calls for breadcrumbs, don’t use industrialized breadcrumbs, try to use natural, fresh breadcrumbs easily found on bakery counters.

Whenever a recipe calls for a preheated oven, try to leave it at the indicated temperature 15 minutes before placing the refractory dish or other type of pan.
