Easy to make, this gratin makes the dish much richer and tastier. Try it!
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower divided into branches
- 1 vegetable broth
- ½ liter of boiling water
- 2 tablespoons melted margarine
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
- 5 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped green chilli
- 100 grams of coarsely grated mozzarella
Sauce Ingredients
- 250 ml of milk
- 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
- 1 vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 echo
Preparation Mode
- Dissolve the vegetable broth in boiling water and cook the cauliflower until it is al dente.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Season the margarine with green scent, salt and pepper.
- Drain the water from the cauliflower and dip the branches in margarine.
- Distribute in a refractory greased with margarine and sprinkled with breadcrumbs and set aside.
- Heat the milk in a pan and dissolve the vegetable broth.
- Add the egg yolk, wheat flour, cream cheese and mix continuously until the sauce thickens.
- Distribute the sauce over the reserved cauliflower.
- Mix the Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the sauce.
- Distribute the mozzarella cheese over everything.
- Bake until golden.

Whenever a recipe calls for breadcrumbs, don’t use industrialized breadcrumbs, try to use natural, fresh breadcrumbs easily found on bakery counters.
