Ingredients Dough
- 4 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 can of cream
- 1 cup (tea) of vegetable fat
- 2 eggs
- 1 echo
- Salt to taste
Ingredients Filling
- 1 box of creamy Catupiry® type cheese
- 3 cups (tea) of shredded chicken
- 1 chopped and boiled onion
- 1 cup (tea) of sliced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- Black pepper to taste
Preparation Mode
- Grease and flour a 22 cm diameter springform pan.
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- In a bowl, mix the dough ingredients.
- Using a rolling pin, roll out 2/3 of the dough and line the pan.
- Roll out the remaining dough and set aside.
Preparation Method Filling
- Mix the filling ingredients and place in the pan lined with dough.
- Cover with the remaining reserved dough and brush with egg yolk.
- Bake for 1 hour or until cooked and lightly browned.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for 10 minutes and then unmold.
- Serve immediately.
Mom’s Tips
If you prefer, you can make the pie in a glass or porcelain baking dish of your choice.
Boxed cream cheese (410 grams) can be found in good supermarkets. The boxed cheese is firmer and more suitable for fillings.
