Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups of wheat flour (sieved)
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 cup of chocolate milk
  • 1 cup (tea) oil
  • 1 cup (tea) whole milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder
  • Strawberries

Syrup Ingredients

  • ½ cup of milk
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of chocolate milk
  • 1 level tablespoon of unsalted margarine

Dough Preparation Method

  1. Grease and flour a small pan of your choice.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  3. In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, chocolate milk and sugar. Book.
  4. In a blender, beat the milk, eggs and oil.
  5. Place the mixture in the reserved bowl and mix well.
  6. Add the yeast and mix again.
  7. Place in pan and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
  8. After baking and when warm, pour the syrup over the cake.
  9. Once cold, decorate with strawberries.

How to prepare the syrup

Place all the ingredients in a small pan, heat over high heat, stirring constantly, until a syrup of medium consistency is obtained.

The homemade syrup can be replaced with chocolate-flavored ice cream syrup.

If you prefer, fill the cake with strawberry jam.
