Mmm…the traditional pancake is good but no one can resist the chocolate one. Delicious!
Ingredients Dough
- 100 grams of wheat flour
- 300 ml of milk
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 ovo
- 50 grams of dark chocolate
- Sunflower oil for frying
Ingredients Syrup
- 100 grams of unsalted butter
- 100 grams of light brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons of chocolate liqueur
Dough Preparation Method
- Sift the flour.
- In a food processor, place the flour, milk, cocoa, egg and beat until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan.
- In the frying pan, place approximately 100 ml of batter, spreading it to completely cover the bottom.
- Fry the pancake until it is golden brown on the bottom, turn it over and fry the other side.
- Remove it from the pan and make the rest, greasing the pan if necessary.
- Stack the pancakes on a plate, separated with parchment paper.
Syrup Preparation Method
- In a frying pan, melt the butter with the sugar.
- Add the liquor and mix.
Assembly
- In the center of each pancake, spread the grated chocolate.
- Fold the pancakes into a rectangle.
- Place them in the pan and heat them for about two minutes.
- Serve them soaked in the syrup.
Mom’s Tips
Do not substitute butter for margarine.
You can choose: chocolate liqueur or Port.
Grate the chocolate on the coarse/larger side of the grater.
Filling option: scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Creamy sweets can also be used as filling.
