Ingredients
- Champagne biscuits
- 1 cup (tea) of milk
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 300 grams of chocolate ice cream
- 300 ml fresh cream
- 200 grams of chopped dried fruit mix
- 150 grams of melted milk chocolate
Ingredients Topping (optional)
- 200 grams of chopped chocolate
- ½ can of cream
Preparation Mode
- Line a 16 cm diameter round bowl or pan with plastic wrap.
- Mix milk with cocoa.
- Lightly moisten the cookies in this mixture.
- With the cookies, line the bottom and sides of the chosen pan.
- Reserve 1 cup (tea) of cream.
- In a mixer, beat the remaining cream until it reaches whipped cream consistency.
- Make a 2 cm layer of whipped cream over the cookies.
- Place in the freezer until hardened.
- On top of the whipped cream, place a layer of ice cream and put it back in the freezer.
- Remove and make a layer of moistened cookies.
- Mix the melted chocolate with the fruit mix and the remaining cream.
- Place this mixture over the cookies.
- Place in the freezer for at least 6 hours.
- Unmold.
- Before serving, if you prefer, cover with the topping and decorate as desired.
How to Prepare the Topping
- Melt the chocolate, add the cream and mix well.
- Refrigerate until it begins to set.
- Remove and beat in a mixer until creamy.
- Unmold the pie and cover with the cream.
- Decorate with chocolate shavings and dried fruit.
Mom’s Tips
The biscuits can be replaced with slices of cake or panettone. In this case, cut them into thin slices.
Cocoa powder can be replaced with chocolate powder. Do not replace it with chocolate powder.
Suggestion for dried fruit mix: nuts, chestnuts, cherries, apricots, etc.
