Ingredients
- 2 kg of pork chops in one piece
- 1 can frozen concentrated pineapple juice
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- ¼ cup (tea) of brandy
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt to taste
- Butter
Preparation Mode
- Preheat the oven to 170ºC.
- Place the chop in a baking dish greased with butter.
- Make light vertical cuts between the chop bones, using a sharp knife.
- Bake for 2 hours.
- Separately, mix the pineapple juice, garlic, onion, ginger, salt and bring to the boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat, add cognac and mix.
- Brush the meat with this sauce every 15 minutes during the last hour it is in the oven.
- Serve the remaining sauce on the side.

Pineapple juice = 180g, chopped onion = ¼ cup
Chop yield = 8 servings
