What began as a relaxing trip for a Colombian family has turned into a harrowing search. Aylen Pautt, her husband and their little son, just over a year old, disappeared three days ago while traveling by land from Cancun to Mexico City.

The trip, which was initially planned as a getaway to enjoy the beaches of Cancun during the week of recess, has taken an alarming turn. Mili Pautt, Aylen’s sister, shared that the 28-year-old, originally from Galapa, Atlántico, She left on October 4 from the Ernesto Cortissoz airport with her husband and son, with the intention of enjoying a family vacation in the renowned tourist destination of Cancun, Mexico.

They stopped at a checkpoint and stopped responding


However, after several days in Cancun, they decided to take a trip to Mexico City, with the aim of visiting the Basilica of Guadalupe to commend the health of his little one, who has presented serious respiratory complications which have led him to suffer severe episodes of pneumonia. It was on this journey that the family lost all contact.

According to Mili, the last message he received from his sister was when Aylen told him that his vehicle had been stopped at a National Guard checkpoint in Puebla. The woman even sent a photograph of the agents as proof of the situation.

“She told us that they had stopped them and made them get out of the car. Then, he didn’t respond again,” explained Mili, Aylen’s sister, in conversation with Blue Radio.

After two days without hearing from them, the family of the missing received a call from Mexico. In this, an unknown voice assured that Aylen, her husband and son were being held and that, To release them at a migration point in Mexico City, they had to pay a large sum of money.

“We asked where they had them, but they didn’t give us more information,” said Mili, visibly affected.

Despite efforts to contact the kidnappers again, The family has not received any more calls or information about the whereabouts of the Colombians.

The relatives of the missing woman have requested help from both Colombian and Mexican authorities to accelerate the search and location of her relatives.

The case has shocked both his loved ones and the community, who hope that this distressing incident can soon be resolved and the family can return safely.
