The victim was with his wife accompanying the Colombian national team in Miami, but a subject started his vehicle and repeatedly fired at the people who were there. Unfortunately, the compatriot was hit by a bullet.
Adriana Garzón, the injured man’s sister-in-law, spoke about the events: “My sister wrote to me that her husband was shot. There were many Colombians, the man wanted to run them over and the people told him to calm down because there were children. Without caring, he opens his window, takes out a gun and shoots. He fires two shots into the sky and the other one hits my brother-in-law in the face.”
The woman said that her relative is in critical condition: “We are waiting for him to recover. At this time, we still don’t know anything about the person who injured him. No one has contacted my sister.” We are worried about the medical expenses. They have two children there and we don’t know what we are going to do.”
The attacker has not yet been identified. Miami authorities are analyzing videos captured by other Colombians to determine his whereabouts.
