Don’t forget to try this recipe. The breads, in addition to being nutritious, are delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of wheat flour
  • 60 grams of fresh organic yeast
  • 1 and ½ cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 1 cup (tea) oil
  • 2 cans of green corn (without the water)
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • Fennel (optional)

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease and flour bread pans or a large baking tray.
  2. In a blender, beat the eggs, milk, sugar, oil, margarine and salt.
  3. Add the green corn little by little and beat well until they fall apart.
  4. Add the yeast and beat just enough to mix.
  5. Place the mixture in a bowl and gradually add the wheat flour.
  6. Mix and knead well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  7. Cover with a cloth and let it rest.
  8. Model the loaves in the pan or molds and let them rise.
  9. If you prefer, brush them with egg yolk.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for approximately 30 minutes or until they are baked and browned.

Mom Tips

You can replace the cans of corn with 8 to 9 ears of corn.

If you prefer, you can make half the recipe with 2 eggs. It will yield 4 medium loaves.

Breads can be frozen.
