Ingredients Dough

  • 1 cup (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar
  • ½ cup (tea) of melted margarine
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Ingredients Filling/Topping

  • 400 grams of chopped white chocolate
  • 1 can of cream
  • 3 tablespoons of orange juice
  • Grated zest of 1 orange (optional)

Dough Preparation Method

  1. Grease and flour a 24 cm diameter pan.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. In a mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar until they double in volume.
  4. Add the flour, chocolate, honey, margarine and essence.
  5. Beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  6. Turn off the mixer, add the yeast and mix with a spoon.
  7. Place in the pan and bake for approximately 35 minutes.
  8. Let it cool and then unmold.

Preparation Method Filling/Topping

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Cake Assembly

  1. Cut the cake in half.
  2. Fill with half of the cream.
  3. Cover with the other cake batter.
  4. Spread the remaining cream covering the entire cake.
  5. Decorate with white chocolate shavings.
  6. Refrigerate.
