Trump admitted this Sunday that Americans could feel the economic consequences of tariffs that he imposed on other countries, but defended that “it will be worth it” to guarantee the interests of the United States.
“Will there be some pain? Yes, maybe (and maybe not),” Trump wrote in his social network Truth Social % additional to those already existing for Chinese goods.
“We will make the United States great again, and it will be worth all the cost we must pay,” he added.

Canada responds with tariffs to the United States
Canada will impose tariffs on American products in retaliation for the taxes announced this Saturday by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
