FC Bayern tests against Klopp after sobering results
In the last game of the Asia trip, FC Bayern will play against Liverpool FC at 1.30 p.m. in the National Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. The previous tests against Manchester City (1: 2) and Kawasaki Frontale (1: 0) were rather sobering for the Tuchel team. Against Jürgen Klopp’s team things should now go better for Munich. Ex-Liverpool star Sadio Mané will not be there after moving to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. New signing Min-jae Kim, who made his debut against Kawasaki, will be back in the squad.
Liverpool has already played against two German teams as part of the preparation. The Klopp team won 2:4 against Karlsruher SC, and there was a spectacular 4:4 draw against Greuther Fürth. After the duel with the “Reds”, Munich will face AS Monaco on August 7th, before the Supercup against RB Leipzig on August 12th, the first competitive game of the season. For Liverpool, the Premier League season starts on August 13 against Chelsea.
