Ingredients

  • 400 grams of cleaned and cut squid
  • 1 kg of dogfish in clean medium pieces
  • 1 kg of boyfriend in clean medium pieces
  • 300 grams of cleaned medium red prawns
  • Crushed garlic to taste
  • Juice of 3 lemons
  • 2 green peppers
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 6 to 8 peeled garlic cloves
  • ½ cup (tea) palm oil
  • ½ cup (tea) tomato sauce
  • ½ cup (tea) olive oil
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup chopped green chilli powder
  • ½ cup chopped coriander
  • Chopped chili pepper to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Wash fish, shrimp and squid separately and let them drain.
  2. Season the fish, shrimp and squid with lemon juice, crushed garlic and salt and let rest for 30 minutes.
  3. In a large clay pot or another pot of your choice, intersperse layers of tomatoes, green peppers, onions and sprinkle with finger pepper.
  4. Add the fish fillets and then the squid and prawns.
  5. Add some whole garlic cloves, without the skin, and repeat the layers until the end of the ingredients.
  6. Cover with tomato sauce, palm oil and olive oil.
  7. Sprinkle with half of the green seasoning and cook over low heat for approximately 30 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Mom Tips

If you prefer, remove 3 to 4 ladles of the sauce to make a mush and sprinkle the rest of the coriander and green chillies over the stew.
