Ingredients
- 400 grams of cleaned and cut squid
- 1 kg of dogfish in clean medium pieces
- 1 kg of boyfriend in clean medium pieces
- 300 grams of cleaned medium red prawns
- Crushed garlic to taste
- Juice of 3 lemons
- 2 green peppers
- 4 tomatoes
- 3 onions
- 6 to 8 peeled garlic cloves
- ½ cup (tea) palm oil
- ½ cup (tea) tomato sauce
- ½ cup (tea) olive oil
- ¼ cup coconut milk
- ½ cup chopped green chilli powder
- ½ cup chopped coriander
- Chopped chili pepper to taste
Preparation Mode
- Wash fish, shrimp and squid separately and let them drain.
- Season the fish, shrimp and squid with lemon juice, crushed garlic and salt and let rest for 30 minutes.
- In a large clay pot or another pot of your choice, intersperse layers of tomatoes, green peppers, onions and sprinkle with finger pepper.
- Add the fish fillets and then the squid and prawns.
- Add some whole garlic cloves, without the skin, and repeat the layers until the end of the ingredients.
- Cover with tomato sauce, palm oil and olive oil.
- Sprinkle with half of the green seasoning and cook over low heat for approximately 30 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Mom Tips
If you prefer, remove 3 to 4 ladles of the sauce to make a mush and sprinkle the rest of the coriander and green chillies over the stew.
