Frozen de Manga

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (tea) of chopped mango pulp
  • 3 pots of natural yogurt
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of emulsifier
  • 1 tablespoon neutral alloy powder

Ingredients Syrup

  • 1 and ½ cup (tea) of diced mango
  • ½ cup (tea) of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preparation Mode

  1. In a blender, beat the mango pulp with the yogurt, sugar, and neutral binder until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Place in a jar with a lid and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove and place in the mixer.
  4. Add the emulsifier and, at medium speed, beat for 5 minutes.
  5. Place in the freezer for another 30 minutes.
  6. Repeat the process 2 more times.

Syrup Preparation Method

  1. Reserve ½ cup (tea) of diced mango.
  2. In a blender, beat the remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour into a saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until it boils.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes and turn off.
  5. Add the reserved mango, mix, let cool and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve the frozen food drizzled with the syrup.

3 pots of yogurt = 600 grams

Yields approximately 8 servings

Mango Cream

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe mangoes, chopped
  • 2 cans of cold cream
  • 7 tablespoons of sugar
  • 8 tablespoons of water
  • 1 packet of colorless, flavorless gelatin powder

Preparation Mode

  1. Place 5 tablespoons of water and the gelatin in a bowl to hydrate.
  2. In a pan, over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of sugar with 3 tablespoons of water.
  3. Add the mango, mix and let it boil for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the hydrated gelatin.
  5. In a mixer, beat the cream with the remaining sugar.
  6. In a small baking dish, place the whipped cream.
  7. Spread the mango with the syrup on top.
  8. Refrigerate until well chilled.
  9. Serve.

Mom’s Tips

Mangoes are healthy; eat them often. Know that: the fibers in the fruit increase the feeling of satiety, lower cholesterol and help control blood sugar levels.
