The G7 is the group of the most industrialized countries in the world, made up of Germany, Canada, the United States, France, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom, in which the European Union is also represented.
The European representative said that “all efforts will continue to be made to defuse the situation”, namely “to end the crisis in Gaza as quickly as possible, in particular through an immediate ceasefire”.
He added that the situation in the Middle East will be discussed at the EU summit scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
