Ingredients

  • 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
  • 250 grams of unsalted margarine
  • 6 excited
  • 6 whites
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 and ½ cup of milk
  • 1 box of strawberry flavored gelatin powder
  • 1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder
  • Sanitized strawberries
  • Strawberry jelly or glitter jelly

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease a 35 cm diameter round pan. Book.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C for 15 minutes.
  3. Using a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks. Book.
  4. Also in a mixer (in another bowl), beat the egg yolks, sugar and margarine until you get a fluffy consistency.
  5. Add the wheat flour and cornstarch sifted together, alternating with the milk.
  6. Add the gelatin and yeast and beat enough to homogenize the mixture.
  7. Turn off the mixer and add the egg whites, mixing gently.
  8. Place in the pan and place in the oven to bake for approximately 35 minutes.
  9. Decorate with strawberries covered in jam.

Mom Tips

Approximate yield of 20 servings.

If you prefer, decorate the edge of the cake with grated dry coconut.
