Serve homemade sweets and desserts to the family. This summer, be sure to try the delicious grape ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of concentrated grape juice
  • 1 cup of sifted sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 2 whites

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pan, add the grape juice, sugar and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until it boils. Let it boil for 15 minutes without stirring.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool well.
  4. Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently mix into the cold grape cream.
  5. Place the mixture in the freezer for approximately 1 hour or until it is solidified.
  6. Remove and beat vigorously.
  7. Repeat this process 3 times, leaving the ice cream in the freezer, after each shake, for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. After the last beat, leave it in the freezer until ready to serve.

Mom Tips

You can vary the flavor of the ice cream by replacing the grape juice with passion fruit, cashew or pineapple juice.

Yield of 5 servings.
