An armed and drunk man killed at least 10 people this Wednesday, January 1, 2025, including two minors, in the south of Montenegro and later committed suicide with a shot to the head, reported the authorities of the Balkan country.

The suspect, identified by the armed body as “AM, 45 years old”, fled after the act. But once the police surrounded him and ordered him to “hand over his weapon, “a bullet was shot in the head”said police chief Lazar Scepanovic.
“We tried to transport him to a hospital, but succumbed to his injuries,” he added.
The drama began around 4:30 p.m. GMT, Scepanovic previously explained in a press conference.
“After getting into a fight with a client with whom he spent much of the day, and while he had drunk large quantities of alcohol, he went home, He grabbed a gun and killed four people.”he detailed.

The Minister of the Interior, Danilo Saranovic, had reported that the suspect “took the lives of at least ten people, including two minors from the Vuletic family”, which owns the aforementioned restaurant.
