It’s impossible to eat just one of this mini quiche. Do it for everyone’s joy. Try it and wait for the compliments!

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • ½ cup cubed cold butter
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 4 tablespoons of water

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 can of cream
  • ½ cup diced hearts of palm
  • ½ cup (tea) chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Grated nutmeg to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, butter and salt with your fingertips until you get crumbs.
  3. Add the water little by little, kneading until all the ingredients are combined.
  4. If necessary, add a little more water.
  5. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, beat the cream with the eggs.
  7. Add the heart of palm, basil, tomato and parmesan cheese.
  8. Season with pepper, nutmeg and salt to taste. Mix.
  9. Open the dough with your fingers and line the bottom and sides of individual tart pans with removable rims.
  10. Fill with cream until it reaches 2/3 of the capacity.
  11. Place on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
  12. Wait for it to cool, unmold and serve.

Mom Tips

Always preheat the oven for 10 minutes before baking any recipe.
