Ingredients
- 1 jar of mayonnaise
- 4 cups (tea) of wheat flour
Ingredients Filling
- 5 medium boiled potatoes
- 2 chopped onions
- 1 cup (tea) of chopped herbs
- ½ cup (tea) of milk
- ¼ cup (tea) of grated parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 3 beaten eggs
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the wheat flour until you obtain a smooth dough.
- Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough.
- Using the dough, line the bottom and sides of a 25 cm diameter pan. Set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
Preparation Method Filling
- Put the oil in a pan and brown the onion.
- Add the potatoes, herbs and season with salt. Mix gently and set aside.
- Beat the eggs, milk, add the cheese and mix. Set aside.
- Fill the pie with the reserved potato mixture.
- Spread the reserved egg mixture on top.
- Place in the oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes.
Mom’s Tips
Suggested herbs: rosemary, sage, basil or herbs of your choice.
