Influencer is accused of running over a newlywed couple: the groom died

Brazilian authorities are searching for an influencer identified as Vitor Vieira Belarmino, who is suspected of running over a newlywed couple in western Rio de Janeiro. The deadly incident was recorded on video.

The incident left one person dead: Fábio Toshiro Kikuta, a man who had just gotten married.

Security camera images show the moment when the subject, accompanied by his wife, tries to cross an avenue, but is run over by the vehicle that is allegedly driven by the influencer.

Rio de Janeiro authorities are investigating whether he was the one driving the BMW that ran over the couple, who left their wedding party to drop off some suitcases at the hotel where they were staying.

According to a witness, the impact of the crash sent the man flying through the air. What is worrying about this case is that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. This is why the Police requested the arrest of Vitor Vieira Belarmino.

It was reported that the other occupants of the car made statements to the authorities and the vehicle involved was seized in a condominium.
