O attack was carried out on a school in the Zeitun neighborhood of Gaza City.
The deceased was identified as Adel Hamiya.
The Israeli army assured that Hamiya had held his position in intelligence since 2019, for which he participated in the preparation of the Hamas attacks on Israeli territory, on October 7, in which Hamas militiamen killed around 1,200 people and kidnapped 251.
Israel responded by invading the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas since 2007, resulting in around 39,000 deaths and the destruction of much of the infrastructure in the Palestinian enclave of 2.8 million inhabitants.
