The Israeli army announced Thursday that it had bombed seven positions belonging to the Islamist movement Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, six “sites with terrorist infrastructure” and a weapons depot.

The air force “struck sites with Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in the areas of Chihine, Tayibe, Blida, Meis El Jabal, Aitarun and Kfarkela in southern Lebanon, and a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the Khiam area,” also in the south, the military said.

In another statement, The military reported that two drones crossed from Lebanon into Israel on Thursday.

The devices fell near Beit Hillel and Yaara and caused no injuries, But one of the drones started a fire that is being extinguished, according to the military.

Since the war in Gaza began, The border with Lebanon has become the scene of almost daily artillery duels between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, an ally of the Palestinian movement Hamas.
