With this data, There are now 38,394 dead (mostly women and children) since the war began, while the number of wounded rose to 89,364 today. These figures do not include the thousands of bodies that remain in the rubble, with emergency teams unable to access them.

Gaza’s Civil Defense services warned on Wednesday of an attack by an Israeli drone near the Cairo School, in the western Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City (north), in which 11 people have lost their lives.

The army is maintaining pressure on the western areas of the Gaza capital, whose total evacuation it ordered last week, once again mobilizing thousands of Palestinians – 9 out of 10 have been forced to move since the beginning of the war – towards the center of the Strip, to safe areas such as the city of Deir al Balah and neighboring Zawayda.

Different areas have been impacted in the Palestinian territory

The center of the Palestinian territory, however, is also being targeted by Israeli bombings, which An elderly man was killed on Wednesday when a car crashed into his home in the west of the Nuseirat refugee camp, local news agency Wafa reported.

The Army bombed a UN agency school yesterday for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in the camp, where he killed at least 17 people.

“At least eight schools have been attacked in the last 10 days, including six UNRWA schools,” wrote the organization’s commissioner general, Philippe Lazzarini. “All the rules of war have been broken in Gaza,” he lamented in the text, posted on the social network X.

Further south, the Gaza government warned of an airstrike against a house in Abasan, in Khan Yunis, in which Three women and a child have died, and at least ten other people have been injured.

In neighbouring Rafah, in the western district of Tal al-Sultan, ambulances recovered the bodies of four more people, according to Wafa.

285 days after the start of the war in Gaza, the Ministry of Health sent a new “call for help” to the international community on Wednesday to obtain electric generators that allow the health system to function.

The ministry said that the fuel depends on generators that run on fuel, an increasingly scarce commodity with very limited access to the Strip, many of which have been destroyed or broken down over the past few months.

“We expect that several major generators will soon be out of service,” the ministry warned, predicting that patients will die in hospitals as a result.

The Gazan health authorities have therefore appealed to the international community, the United Nations and other international organisations, as well as to Arab and Islamic countries, to support the government in purchasing new generators.
