“I’m looking forward to returning to the campaign trail next week”Biden said in the statement, which comes at a time when pressure has intensified for him to end his candidacy with more members of Congress publicly asking him on Friday to “pass the baton” to someone younger.

“I’m not here to say it hasn’t been a tough few weeks for the campaign,” O’Malley Dillon said.
