Actor Jonathan Majors, known for his role in Creed and Avengers 5, will star in Merciless. This supernatural thriller, based on an original screenplay by Frank Hannah, will follow the story of John, a CIA interrogator who is forced to face malevolent forces to save the woman he loves.
Last Friday night in Beverly Hills, Jonathan Majors was honored with the Perseverance Award at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, just six months after being convicted of domestic assault and stalking. Despite his recent legal struggles, the actor tearfully took the stage to accept the award.
Following this actor’s loss of opportunities in the industry, producer Christopher Tuffin has strongly supported Majors’ involvement in Merciless, arguing that artists should not be deprived of their careers by lawsuits or public opinion.
The film is scheduled to begin filming in Saskatchewan, Canada, this fallwith a release date yet to be confirmed.
