La Fianza, a film that will be released in Spain, has 3 Colombians: director and actors

Next Thursday, December 5, 2024, La Fianza will hit movie theaters in Spain, the most Colombian Spanish film starring Juana Acosta and Julián Román.

The launch of the film took place on Gran Vía, in Madrid (Spain), this Wednesday, December 4. The premiere was under the direction of a Bogota native, Gonzalo Perdomo Tafur.

“This is a Spanish film that tells the story of two migrants. One is Juana and the other is me. Juana lives in a wonderful bubble in Madrid, and this character comes to interact with the two characters who are in the house, which are Juana and Israel, and everything that happens in one night. This is a film about three actors locked in a house where a lot of things really happen. “I can’t tell you more because I end up damaging the ending,” said Julián Román, Colombian actor.

Starting this December 5, La Fianza will hit movie theaters in Spain like this:

It is expected that in the coming days the feature film will reach movie theaters in Colombian territory.

The story of La Fianza began “from two very simple premises. On the one hand, it sought to tell the story of a woman who, in order to improve her situation, changes country, culture and life. While, on the other hand, I wanted to make a film whose plot would show, in one day and in a single location, the struggle and empowerment of this same woman within a man’s world,” said Gonzalo Perdomo, director of the film.

The filmmaker added on the official launch page of the production that “the tone of the film is also very particular, Because in it many thriller elements are mixed with comedy situations and black humor. From the beginning it was very clear that the script work had to be meticulous and that solid characters had to be created who could carry the film on their shoulders.”
