Ingredients
- 1 and ¾ cups (tea) of sifted wheat flour
- 1/3 cup roasted cashew nuts
- 1 level tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 ovo

- 1 level tablespoon of lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds (Optional)
Preparation Mode
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- Prepare the mold by placing the paper cups.
- In a mixer, beat the melted butter with the egg, milk and sugar.
- Add the zest, juice, chestnuts and mix.
- Add the wheat flour, seeds and mix until homogenized.
- Add the yeast and mix.
- Distribute the dough into the molds, leaving space for them to grow.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
- While still hot, remove the dumplings from the pan and place on a wire rack to cool.

In cooking, poppy seeds are often used in salads, pasta, bread, cakes, pies, fruit salad, jams, cookies, etc.
If you prefer, you can sprinkle the cupcakes with icing sugar and decorate them with cashews.
