Dough Ingredients
- 2 and ½ cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablet of fresh organic yeast
- 1 cup (tea) of warm water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Filling Ingredients
- ½ cup grated lean ham
- 1 cup grated light mozzarella cheese
- 4 tablespoons chopped green olives
- 1 beaten egg
Dough Preparation Method
- In a bowl, mix the flour and oil.
- Add the yeast dissolved in the water and salt.
- Mix with the help of a spoon.
- Transfer the mixture to a surface sprinkled with flour.
- Work the dough until it obtains a smooth and uniform consistency.
- Form into a ball, cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6 parts.
Calzones Assembly
- Grease a baking tray with olive oil and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- Mix the filling ingredients. Reserve.
- Roll out each part of the dough into 6 discs.
- Distribute the filling in each of them and fold in half.
- Press the edges well, brush with egg and place the calzones on the baking tray.
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes.
