After appearing before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, declared that he will not negotiate with the opposition and referred to María Corina Machado, who he said will have to turn herself in to justice.

“Regarding the negotiation, I believe that The only one who has to negotiate with Machado in this country is the Attorney General. “Let him turn himself in to justice, face the crime and answer for it,” Maduro said.

The president also assured that “all sectors will be invited to political dialogue. I will call the 38 political parties that are registered with the CNE and from there will arise instances for future understanding.”

The CNE reported having suffered a cyber attack on its system on the day of the vote, which did not prevent Maduro’s proclamation without providing evidence, while The opposition presented thousands of voting records on a website that would give an overwhelming victory to its candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia.
