A 36-year-old man lost his life on August 2 after falling down an elevator shaft from the sixth floor of a building located in the city of Bariloche, Argentina. The victim, Nicolás Autore was carrying out maintenance tasks with his father when the accident occurred.

Nicholas and his father They had been called by the building managers to fix an elevator which was put out of service due to an overload.

According to local reports, eight tourists used the elevator simultaneously, causing it to stop on the ground floor of the building.

The man fell into the void while repairing the elevator


Upon arriving at the place, Nicholas and his father maintenance tasks were distributed.

Reports indicate that while the father worked on an upper floor, the man operated on the sixth floor.

It was then that, for reasons still being investigated, the man fell into the elevator shaft, ending on the roof of the cabin.

Rescue teams, including local police, firefighters and hospital medical staff, rushed to the scene of the accident.

The investigation continues to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
