Maria Corina Machado at the march against electoral fraud: “The voice of the people is respected”

“We knew, in the first stage, that all the strength had to be converted into an organization, with a legitimate leadership and that is why we fought until we achieved citizen primaries without being controlled by the CNE and we achieved it,” he added.

For the third stage, narrated by María Corina Machado, they had to “make the presidential election happen and have a candidate who represented the democratic forces.”

“We managed to overcome the obstacles and we managed to make Edmundo González the candidate for a country. He is an honest, brave and strong man, who loves Venezuela,” he said.

In the fourth stage, as recounted by Machado, the leader said that they were “told that it was impossible to confront and defeat the fraud and demonstrate” their victory, but, she said, they succeeded.

For the opposition leader, the fifth stage now comes: “We have overcome the previous four and now is the time to collect. Collecting means that every vote is respected. There is nothing above the voice of the sovereign and the sovereign spoke in Venezuela on July 28. The voice of the people and the decision of the people are respected.”
