María Corina Machado, Venezuelan opposition leader, spoke this Saturday, November 23, via stream, at the International Meeting of Activists. The politician, who did not refer to the investigation by the Venezuelan Prosecutor’s Office for alleged treason, assured that Nicolás Maduro’s regime “is fractured, has real contradictions, tensions and divisions.”

“The Maduro regime is in the process of decomposition,” says María Corina Machado

The opposition leader asserted that “everyone knows what happened on July 28 and everyone knows that Venezuela will be free.”

“Those who see the minutes, those who touch them, it changes their lives, because they say ‘it is like having the testimony of the will of a people that has revealed itself,'” said Machado, who stated that “we have the final stretch ahead of us.” of the Chavista regime, since “everyone knows what happened on July 28 and everyone knows that Venezuela will be free,” when referring to the elections in which Nicolás Maduro was declared the winner, although the opposition says that the winner was Edmundo González and has offered the minutes as evidence.

According to María Corina Machado, “we are seeing a regime that is fractured, that has real contradictions, tensions and divisions, some are seen, others are not seen, but We all know that they are in a process of decomposition due to their cruelty, their corruption, their vileness.”.

For this reason, he stated, “no one is going to turn the page with Venezuela, Every day we have more allies and the actions will be firmer until the regime understands that their time is up.” and that he must negotiate to hand over power to the opposition.

Machado also announced that “This December 1st we are planning a huge protest inside and outside of Venezuela. (…) It is today that we have to act.”

Finally, he “thanked God for being able to fight alongside each of you. “It honors me, it makes me proud.”

Diosdado Cabello links María Corina Machado with a plan to overthrow Maduro

The Minister of the Interior of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, reported this Saturday about a new plan to overthrow the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, in which he linked the opposition leader María Corina Machado and other anti-Chavista leaders.

Cabello explained that This operation began in the state of Zulia (west, bordering Colombia), where businessman José Enrique Rincón, owner of several companies, along with his children, “comes into play.” Juan Diego Rincón Sabatino and José Enrique Rincón Sabatino, who – according to the minister – “have links with opposition political sectors” and are in Spain.

“They They have direct links with Iván Simonovis (former commissioner of the Caracas Metropolitan Police), again with the terrorist María Corina Machado, with Tomás Guanipa, with Juan Pablo Guanipa and a large number of people who are here (…). They are all identified“said Cabello in a broadcast on the state channel VTV in which he did not mention any more names to avoid – he said – a possible escape.

According to the minister, the businessman Rincón met and recruited judges and prosecutors – at least five detained -, people from retired business and military groups and others active for this operation, called ‘No to Christmas’, which intended – Cabello said – handing over weapons to detained people to generate “destabilization” in the country.

Likewise, he reported on the seizure of a batch of weapons, seized in the middle of an operation in a place that he did not specify, where training of Colombian paramilitary groups was taking place.

“We have been denouncing and presenting evidence of arms trafficking to bring them to Venezuela in order to be used by groups of criminals linked to the Aragua Train and the Llanos Train, in order to generate situations throughout Venezuela. of instability to be taken advantage of by clearly identified political sectors,” he stated.

The minister reported that the case is in full development and that companies are being raided, without giving more details.

Cabello’s announcement comes a day after the Venezuelan Prosecutor’s Office opened a new investigation against opposition leader María Corina Machado accused of “treason” for “conspiring” with the Government of Joe Biden to promote a bill to further economically isolate Nicolás Maduro’s Executive.

“The public statements that the aforementioned (Machado) has made regarding this irritable bill seriously involve her and constitute the commission of the crimes of treason,” the Public Ministry said in a statement.

The text also indicates that the United States House of Representatives incurred “criminal actions” that are supported by Machado, in hiding after denouncing fraud in the presidential elections of July 28, and seek to “increase the catalog of illegal sanctions against the Venezuelan people”.

The US House of Representatives approved the bipartisan Bolívar bill on Monday, which still needs the green light from the Senate and the president’s signature to go into effect.

The text, officially called the Prohibition of Operations and Leases with the Illegitimate Venezuelan Authoritarian Regime, prohibits signing contracts with people who conduct business “with the illegitimate government of Nicolás Maduro” or with any other “not recognized as legitimate by the United States.”

Caracas calls this project a “criminal attack” since it considers it violates the Charter of the United Nations, and “adds to the more than 930 unilateral and extraterritorial coercive measures.”

In response to Washington’s measure, the Venezuelan Parliament approved on Thursday the “Organic Law of Liberator Simón Bolívar against the Imperialist Blockade,” which disqualifies Venezuelans who support US sanctions from holding public office.
