With marzipan we can make chocolates, model flowers, cover cakes, make shaped sweets…
Ingredients
- 500 grams of semi-sweet chocolate
- 250 grams of ground cashew nuts
- 2 cups of icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon of almond essence
- 1 cup cashew nuts for garnish (optional)
- 1 ovo
Preparation Mode
- Line a baking tray/baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a bowl, place the ground chestnuts, sugar, essence, egg, mix and knead well.
- Shape small portions into rectangles.
- Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and dip the chocolates in it using a fork.
- Place the chocolates on the reserved baking sheet.
- If you choose to decorate, place a brown sock on top of each candy.
- Let the candies dry.
- Place the chocolates in paper molds or, once they are dry, wrap them in packaging suitable for chocolates.

Approximate yield of 30 units.
The decoration can also be made with dark chocolate as shown in the photo.
