Melania Trump defends abortion rights: “No one should tell them what to do with their bodies”

In the book, Melania argues that “women have the authority to terminate a pregnancy if they wish, and that no one, least of all a government, should tell them what to do with their bodies.”

Furthermore, Melania highlighted: “Without a doubt, there is no room for concessions when it comes to this essential right that every woman has since birth: individual freedom. What does my body, my choice, really mean?” This approach could be seen as an attempt to appeal to female voters, suggesting that Melania could be an ally in the White House if she returns to serve as first lady.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump faces a new controversy in relation to the attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election. The judge in the case in Washington has published excerpts from a 180-page document in which the prosecutor argues that Trump has committed crimes.

The document mentions January 6, 2021, when Mike Pence had to be taken to a safe place due to threats to his life. According to testimony, a Trump adviser warned him about the danger Pence was in, and Trump allegedly responded dismissively: “So what?”
