Missing young Argentine woman found dead: this was revealed by the autopsy of Sofía Delgado

Sofía Delgado was 20 years old and had been missing for two weeks in Argentina

El Clarín revealed this Saturday that the autopsy performed on Sofía Delgado’s body confirmed that the young woman lost her life violently, due to “possible mechanical asphyxiation”, and that “a priori no traces of gunshots or stabbing were seen.”. Likewise, the remains were in an advanced state of decomposition. Forensics from the Legal Medical Institute took samples to analyze, among other things, whether she was subjected to sexual acts.

Due to the disappearance and death of Sofía Delgado there are several detainees in the hands of the Argentine Police, two being the key ones: Alejandro José Bevicqua, 35 years old, and his partner Miranda Leguizamón, 29. During the capture, carried out at his home, several cell phones and a bag with sex toys were seized, the Argentine newspaper added.

According to the investigations, the man “had a romantic relationship with Sofía for some time.” This was reported by Clarín, citing an official source. She told the media that Leguizamón, who was six months pregnant, also knew the victim.

Bevilacqua is the main accused of the femicide of Sofía Delgado, Clarín stressed and added that the agents in charge think that the subject carried out sadomasochistic practices.

Another of the detainees is Eduardo Mordini and his partner, not publicly identified. Sofía Delgado’s mother calls for justice

“Let them rot in jail, they cannot be called people. My request is for Justice. Whoever has to intervene, let him do so, with whatever cover he has to give, but let him set a precedent. I don’t speak from anger and pain, because I can’t tell you what pain I have. “I don’t want any of those who participated free,” said the victim’s mother, Mrs. Claudina.

Sofía Delgado disappeared after leaving her house. The last activity recorded on his cell phone was at 11:20 pm that Wednesday. Argentina, moved, also demands that those responsible receive the full weight of the law.
