Have you tried this steak dish? No?! It’s very tasty and the flavor is just right!
Ingredients
- 4 filet mignon steaks or pork loin fillet
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 8 tablespoons of butter
- 2 stalks of chopped celery
- 2 chopped onions
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cube of beef broth
- 1 cup (tea) of water
- 2 cups (tea) of dry white wine
- 1 teaspoon of wheat flour
- 1 cup (tea) of cream
- 8 tablespoons of mustard and leave for 3 minutes on low heat.
- Serve.
Preparation Mode
- Season the fillets with salt and pepper.
- In a frying pan, over medium heat, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Fry the fillets until golden brown. Keep warm.
- In the same frying pan, heat the remaining butter, sauté the onion and celery.
- Add the bay leaf and the beef broth dissolved in ½ cup of water. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Strain the sauce and return the broth to medium heat. Add the wine and the flour dissolved in the remaining water.
- Stir until thickened.
- Add the mustard and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Add the cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the fillets in the sauce and leave for 3 minutes over low heat.
- Serve.
Mom’s Tips
If you prefer to use pork, it may release a little water when frying. Continue frying until the water evaporates and the meat is golden brown.
