Have you tried this steak dish? No?! It’s very tasty and the flavor is just right!

Ingredients

  • 4 filet mignon steaks or pork loin fillet
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 8 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 stalks of chopped celery
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cube of beef broth
  • 1 cup (tea) of water
  • 2 cups (tea) of dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) of cream
  • 8 tablespoons of mustard and leave for 3 minutes on low heat.
  • Serve.

Preparation Mode

  1. Season the fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. In a frying pan, over medium heat, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
  3. Fry the fillets until golden brown. Keep warm.
  4. In the same frying pan, heat the remaining butter, sauté the onion and celery.
  5. Add the bay leaf and the beef broth dissolved in ½ cup of water. Cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Strain the sauce and return the broth to medium heat. Add the wine and the flour dissolved in the remaining water.
  7. Stir until thickened.
  8. Add the mustard and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
  9. Add the cream and season with salt and pepper.
  10. Place the fillets in the sauce and leave for 3 minutes over low heat.
  11. Serve.

Mom’s Tips

If you prefer to use pork, it may release a little water when frying. Continue frying until the water evaporates and the meat is golden brown.
