For those of you who love fish and seafood: Octopus with vinaigrette is an excellent option as a starter or even just as an appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 kg of powder
- 1 cup chopped parsley
- 2 chopped onions
- 3 chopped tomatoes
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 chopped red pepper
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 bay leaf
- White vinegar to taste
- Olive oil to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- In a bowl, mix the tomatoes, peppers and parsley. Book.
- In a pan, add water and salt.
- Bring to a boil.
- Glue the octopus tentacles to a fork and dip them in the water a few times until they shrink, so they don’t turn dark.
- Add the bay leaf and onion.
- When the onion is cooked, the octopus will be good.
- Cut the octopus into small pieces.
- Place in the reserved bowl and add vinegar, olive oil, lemon and refrigerate.
- Serve with wholemeal toast.
Mom Tips
When choosing octopus: know that the lighter it is, the fresher the octopus.
Clean the octopus well under running water.
If you prefer, you can accompany it with a green leaf salad.
Octopus in traditional size and mini octopus can be found at fish and seafood stalls in the Municipal Market in your city or in good fishmongers.
