Ingredients

  • 1 can of peaches in syrup
  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 cup (tea) oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • Peaches in syrup to decorate (optional)
  • Icing sugar (optional)
  • Shredded coconut (optional)

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease and flour a small baking dish or a 22 cm diameter pan with a hole in the middle.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. Chop half of the peaches into cubes and set aside.
  4. In a blender, blend the rest of the peach (including half of the syrup).
  5. Add the oil, eggs, sugar and flour until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  6. Place the mixture in a bowl, add the peach cubes, yeast and mix.
  7. Pour the dough into the chosen pan and place in the oven to bake for 40 minutes or until golden.

Mom Tips

If necessary, you can increase the amount of syrup if the dough is too thick.

Approximate yield of 14 servings.

If you choose the shape with a hole in the middle, wait for the cake to cool before removing it from the mold. In this case, you can sprinkle the cake with icing sugar.

If you prefer to make the cake in a baking dish, once the cake is ready, spread a thin layer of peach jelly over it and decorate with sliced ​​peaches. The side of the cake can be decorated with grated coconut.
