Easy to prepare and an added pleasure, homemade cookies are sure to delight children and even adults.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) of skinless peanuts, roasted and ground
  • 2/3 (two thirds) cup (tea) of butter
  • ½ cup (tea) of sugar
  • 1 ovo
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation Mode

  1. Mix the wheat flour with the yeast and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. In a bowl, beat the butter, peanuts and sugar until light and creamy.
  4. Add the egg and beat well.
  5. Add the reserved flour and yeast mixture and mix until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  6. On an ungreased baking sheet, distribute the cookies, leaving space between them.
  7. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the baking sheet and let cool on a rack.

Mom’s Tips

Know that: Cookies are sweet biscuits.

You can decorate the cookies before baking with peanuts.

Yield will depend on the size you choose for the cookies.
