Peanut Ice Cream (1st Version)

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (tea) of roasted peanuts, skinless and ground
  • 1 cup (tea) of milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 3 egg whites, beaten until stiff
  • Chocolate flavored ice cream sauce

Preparation Mode

  1. Reserve as claras.
  2. In a blender, beat the other ingredients.
  3. Place in a bowl, add the beaten egg whites and mix well.
  4. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove, place in the mixer and beat for 10 minutes.
  6. Return to freezer.
  7. Repeat the procedure 4 more times.
  8. Place in glasses and serve with the syrup.

Mom’s Tips

Procedures must be carried out so that the ice cream acquires consistency, creaminess and does not form ice crystals.

Peanuts: you can find them ready-made, sold in bags, in good supermarkets. You can also find them in bulk at the Municipal Market in your city.

Yields approximately 4 servings.

Organic Peanut Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (tea) of skinless and roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup (tea) of milk
  • 1 cup (tea) of organic sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of colorless gelatin powder
  • 3 tablespoons of water

Preparation Mode

  1. Hydrate the gelatin in water and melt it in a bain-marie.
  2. In a blender, beat the milk with the sugar and gelatin.
  3. Add the peanuts and beat until crushed.
  4. Place in ice cube trays and place in the freezer until hardened.
  5. Serve.

Mom’s Tips

Organic sugar is found in good supermarkets or home/party/bakery supply stores.

Organic sugar is healthier because the sugarcane used in its production is grown without chemical fertilizers.

This type of ice cream can be frozen for up to 3 months.
