Ingredients

  • 4 pears
  • ½ cup dry red wine
  • ½ cup (tea) of water
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Preparation Mode

  1. Place the pears, water, sugar, wine, lemon juice, cloves and cinnamon in a pan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until it boils and until the pears become soft.
  3. Serve with the cooking syrup.

Mom Tips

Yields 4 servings.

Use good quality wine.

Serve with ice cream or your choice of ice cream.
