Ingredients

  • 1 kg of chopped potatoes
  • 1 kg of fresh sausage, thickly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 chopped onion
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped green chilli
  • 1 teaspoon (optional) paprika (coloring)
  • 1 cup (tea) of water

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pressure cooker, over medium heat, heat the olive oil and fry the garlic and onion for 5 minutes or until golden.
  2. Add the potato, sausage, pepper, salt, green chilli, paprika and mix well.
  3. Add the water, cover the pan and cook over medium heat for approximately 15 minutes, after the pan starts to sizzle.
  4. Remove the pressure, open the pan and transfer to a refractory dish.
  5. Serve immediately.

Mom Tips

If when you open the pan, the potato is still not soft, finish cooking with the pan open until you reach the desired doneness.

If you prefer, you can add carrots to the stew.

Fun fact: The pressure cooker was created by a Frenchman (Denis Papin) around 300 years ago.
