Prison officer was recorded having sexual relations with an inmate: the woman was suspended

A video recorded at the Five Wells private prison in Wellingborough, United Kingdom, went viral through social networks. In it, you could see Linda De Sousa Abreu, a 30-year-old prison officer, having sexual relations with an inmate.

The events occurred in June of this year, when the woman made a decision that would cost her her job. Such was the impact of the video that it led local authorities to begin an investigation into the case.

Apparently, the images released were recorded by a friend of the inmate, who was smoking while filming the scene.

The events undoubtedly alerted the authorities, but above all the citizens, who could not explain why these types of situations were occurring in the prisons.
