Four bacon references are affected by this national recall. All these products are packaged in 150g plastic trays and were marketed from 29/12/2023 au 02/01/2024.

Listeria monocytogenes is a bacteria responsible for listeriosis, a serious disease with an incubation period of up to eight weeks. Symptoms may include fever, headache and body aches. Severe forms can lead to neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women.

People who have consumed these products and who present these symptoms are invited to consult their doctor and report this consumption. Pregnant women, immunocompromised people and the elderly should be particularly alert to these symptoms.
