Ingredients
- 4 cups of cooked and mashed pumpkin
- Wheat flour
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 1 cup of milk (tea)
- 1 cup of pumpkin cooking water
- 1 envelope of dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3 eggs
Preparation Mode
- Mix the liquid ingredients.
- Add the pumpkin cream and mix well.
- Reserve the wheat flour and add the other ingredients.
- Gradually add the wheat flour, kneading the dough until it no longer sticks to your hands.
- Cover and let rise until doubled in volume.
- Shape into loaves of the desired size and let them rise again.
- Bake in the oven until golden.
Mom Tips
Use neck pumpkin. Pumpkin is fibrous and very moist, making it great for breads, sweets and savory dishes.
The pumpkin must be cold to be added to the dough.
Serve with butter, jam and even pumpkin jam.
