Ingredients
- 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 150 grams of cooked and mashed pumpkin
- 1 and ½ cups of white raisins
- ¼ cup (tea) oil
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon of powdered nutmeg
- 1 pinch of baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon of clove powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 1/3 cup (tea) of water
- 2 beaten egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
Preparation Mode
- Prepare the bread pans by greasing and flouring them.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- Soak the raisins in hot water for 30 minutes.
- Then drain and reserve.
- In a bowl, mix the pumpkin, eggs, sugar, nutmeg, cloves, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
- Add the flour and yeast and stir.
- Add the raisins and warm water and mix again.
- If necessary, add a little more wheat flour.
- Shape the dough into two loaves, place them in the molds and brush them with the beaten egg yolks.
- Take it to bake.
