Dough Ingredients
- 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup of warm milk
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 pot of low-fat natural yogurt
- 1 cup seedless raisins
- 1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder
Syrup Ingredients (optional)
- 1 glass of coconut milk
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 50 ml gold rum
Preparation Mode
- Grease and flour two loaf pans or a medium round or rectangular baking dish. Reserve.
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- Coat the raisins with wheat flour. Reserve.
- In a mixer, beat the first six ingredients.
- Add the yeast and mix gently.
- Pour the contents into the cake pans or baking dish.
- Spread the raisins over the dough or gently mix the grapes into the dough.
- Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until golden.
- In a bowl, mix the syrup ingredients.
- Pierce the cake with a fork and moisten with the syrup.
- Allow to cool, unmold and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Remove and serve.
Mom Tips
Pot of yogurt = 200 grams.
Glass of coconut milk = 200 ml
Approximate cake yield is 12 servings.
