A practical meal that everyone enjoys is escondidinho. Nutritious and tasty!
Ingredients Puree
- 1 can of cream
- 500 grams of peeled cassava, cut into pieces
- Nutmeg to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Sautéed Ingredients
- 600 grams of ground beef
- 1 seedless tomato, diced
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- Chopped green onions to taste
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- Black pepper and salt to taste
- 5 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (tea) of creamy cottage cheese
- 1 cup (tea) of grated mozzarella cheese
How to Prepare Puree
- Cook the cassava in boiling salted water for 30 minutes or until soft.
- Drain and pass through a juicer while still hot.
- Place in a bowl, add the cream, season with nutmeg, pepper, salt and mix. Set aside.
Sautéed Preparation Method
- Over medium heat, heat the oil in a saucepan.
- Add the meat and fry for 3 minutes.
- Add the onion and garlic and fry for another 3 minutes or until golden.
- Add the tomato, chives, pepper, salt and turn off the heat.
Assembly
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- Place the sautéed mixture in a baking dish.
- Spread the cream cheese on top, half of the mozzarella and the puree.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve.
Mom’s Tips
If you prefer, cook the cassava in a pressure cooker. Faster and more practical!
