Simple and easy; this pie is exactly like that. A different, delicious and nutritious dessert!
Ingredients
- 1 and ½ cups (tea) of sifted wheat flour
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 5 tablespoons of butter
- 1 ovo
- ½ kg of red plums
Preparation Mode
- Grease a 24 cm diameter springform pan. Set aside.
- Clean the plums and cut them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Set aside.
- Mix the butter with 2 tablespoons of sugar until you get a creamy consistency.
- Add the egg, wheat flour and knead until the ingredients are mixed.
- Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
- Roll out the dough on a smooth, floured surface.
- With the dough, line the bottom and edges of the pan.
- Prick the dough with a fork and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- Place the plums on the dough, one next to the other.
- Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes.
- Unmold once cooled.
- Serve sprinkled with remaining sugar. (optional)
Mom’s Tips
Nutritionists recommend eating prunes at least three times a week. Prunes are among the fruits that contain the most fiber.
